“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.” - Romans 12:1-2

Worship is often thought of as a 30 minute time period that exists during a “church service” when a group of people stand up and sing a few songs. The Bible tells us that true worship is a way of life! It is a way of living in response to the God that captures our love and admiration. Worship occurs every minute of every day.

The journey of life sometimes makes it difficult for us to respond to God with the heartfelt worship that He desires from us. Daily, we struggle through times when our lives conform to the things of this world that are not pleasing to God. There are times when we mess up. We have found it easier to make worship a daily part of our lives if we are part of an encouraging and supportive community.

Throughout the week at ENCOUNTER GROUPS and every Sunday morning at ENCOUNTER GATHERED we “lay it all on the line” with each other as we reflect on and anticipate our worship journey.

“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care.”-Psalm 95:6-7
